Where I sleep and eat!

Well I am learning what its like to be on a boat again. You have to learn to make little spaces comfortable and relaxings. I really took advantage of having a nice bed to sleep in the last 4 years, now I get a reminder of what its like to live in a little bed that is about 20" deep and as wide as me (no turning over at night). The only storage I have is under the bed, and the little half locker next to the bed. My bed is the one on the bottom.

The other pictures are the galley, that is all the space 20 some people have to eat and lounge at for up to 30 days.

Day One

Well, its sandy, hot, and no one knows how to drive. I arrived the day after a minor sand storm. Its in my hair, mouth, shoes, everywhere. But since the sun was blocked out by the sand it only got to 98 today. I am missing everyone tons, hoping this starts flying by. I am sure day to day it will seem slow but before you know it I will be home for R&R. Well here are some pictures of my temporary apartment. I move into the guys place I am replacing after he leaves.

Last day with Family

Well the time has come. Let me tell you know, it is way harder then I thought it would be. I miss everyone tons. I am doing good. I reported to the boat and besides that I have been trying to get adjusted to the time change. Here is a picture we took before heading to the airport.
